My research focuses on Virtual Reality (VR) and Extended Reality (XR) technologies, investigating their application in immersive learning, digital twin simulations, and remote collaboration environments. I examine how user interaction paradigms and spatial awareness in immersive settings influence cognitive processes, decision-making efficacy, and system usability, integrating methodologies from human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, and systems engineering. A central pillar of my research addresses haptic feedback systems and multimodal immersion, exploring how tactile sensations augment presence, task accuracy, and operator confidence in XR applications. Drawing on over five years of professional experience in the manufacturing sector, my primary objective is to translate VR/XR and haptic technologies into manufacturing contexts;facilitating applications such as virtual assembly training, remote diagnostics, ergonomic validation, and operator guidance through immersive digital twins, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency, workplace safety, and workforce skill acquisition.
